Question: Can I connect the DNU pin on the HyperFlash?
Answer: No. DNU stands for Do Not Use. The DNU pin is connected internally and must be left unconnected on the device.
In general, DNU pins are used for internal test purposes. Connecting to the DNU pins in a user application may cause flash malfunction. There have been customer-reported HyperFlash failures due to the DNU pin connection.
This applies to all other Infineon flash family devices.
