Question: Why there are so many jumpers on the EBK? Or alternatively, will my accessory design require so many jumpers?
CY8CKIT-023 provides a flexible hardware platform and supports up to 10 different feature configurations. The support for the different hardware configurations is achieved through use of jumper settings. Refer Appendix of CY8CKIT-023_PSoC_EBK_for_iPhone_iPod_Accessories_Guide to explore all the possible configurations of CY8CKIT-023 hardware and their corresponding Jumper settings. The default jumper settings of CY8CKIT-023 will work for most common cases.
No jumpers are required for your accessory design if your configuration is fixed to a single function.
