Question: What are the advantage of the Lexmark Profile over other spread spectrum profiles like Linear Ramp or Triangular Profile?
As an advantage our Lexmark profile will give larger dB reduction for the same amount of spread percentage that one would get using the Linear Ramp or Triangular Profile. We have our Chapter 9 on Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) of our Perfect Timing II book, available on our website, which discusses the Lexmark Modulation Profile in its Clock Modulation section that can be referred for more information.
