Gamma irradiation of FM24V02 FRAM chips

FM24V02 FRAM 

   

Does anyone know if these memory chips will survive gamma irradiation as used in sterilization of some medical devices?

   

If they do what strength gamma irradiation can they survive and is there any data, specifications or test results to back this up?

Hello Tim Pryce,

   

Currently we have Gamma irradiation test report for 16 Kbit FRAM memory. Please find it attached with this interaction. You can use it as a reference, we do not have similar report for 256 Kbit parts (FM24V02). I hope the attached report is useful for you.
