We want to use the sensor in a wearable application, so can you please give us some details on a possible power-down and the power consumption in this state and, furthermore, if there is any "heat-up" time to consider before we can expect valid values after power-up?

Hello
The sensor can be used for low power application quite nicely. Generally speaking, there are two options to optimize power. Power can be optimized in three way:
Option 1: Adapting the sampling rate
Option 2: Turning off the 12 V supply between two measurements
Option 3: Disconnecting the whole module between two measurements.
The details are present in the app note ( same as previous response)
In addition to the app note, please refer to the excel-based calculator which can help you in getting some understanding of power numbers. Please look into the attachment and you can consider various configurations depending on power budget and end application requirements.
2) Heat up time - There is no heat up time specification from the sensor perspective. The boot-up time for the sensor is 1s. ( this parameter is explained using the term - Tsensor_rdy. Please refer to Table 3 in the datasheet available at the link

Hi
Please refer to the application note on XENSIV PAS CO2 Low Power applications for details on power consumption.
I am not sure about the "heat-up" time. Will discuss this internally and get back to you.
Thanks
