Hi,
I just bought a Avnet Kintex-7 Evaluation Board (http://www.em.avnet.com/en-us/design/drc/Pages/Mini-Module-Plus-Development-Kit-Supporting-the-Kinte...). The kit has a FX3 on it, with a USB3 standart-B connector.
When I try to plug the USB cable on either a USB 3 or UBS 2 port nothing happens. No asking for drivers or anything else, and when i open the device manager, nothing new appears...
Is the FX3 broken or is there a solution ?
Regards,
Armand

Could be a dry solder issue.
Try pressing the FX3 IC while connecting to host with a USB.

Hi,
Can you please probe the clock that is coming from the crystal connected to FX3.
Here I assuming that there is no flash on that board to store the FX3 firmware image and you are expecting it to enumerate with Bootloader.
Thanks,
sai krishna.
