Hi,

I am using MIT App inventor2 to talk to wiced sense, but, it always gives ERROR 507 or 511. Has anyone successfully used the APP inventor2 to talk to Wiced sense?

Thanks,

Eshwar

I think BLE is not supported in MIT App Inventor:
Google Groups

Google Groups

But there is also "Kino App Inventor" (just for iOS ?):

http://kino.pad2play.com/

Kino App Inventor 1.2 and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) + Xadow

Seems to support BLE, (BT 4)

Kino App Inventor on the App Store on iTunes

Really looking great. This is the way how it should go with BLE (everybody can create Apps without real language skills and w/o to fight with tools, SDKs ...)

Unfortunately, this is not a supported tool here on the forums, but one of the other users may have some experience.

Interesting: is there BLE support (or just WiFi)?
What is your current issue with it?
I would give it a try, just to see if it can be used easily for BLE apps
(if not, it would not have value for me. But if we can add BLE support, e.g. get sensor
values into a local database/interface and then create fancy app with it ... even by writing another
small background app dealing with BLE but frontend/GUI is based on such one ...)

May I help? (just where to start, what to look for?)
