How do I determine which version of compiler and assembler are being used in 5.2 sp1

Try to click "Help -> About" there the actual versions are listed (at least in 5.3)

Thanks but I should have said I already looked there. We were already at 7.3 or maybe 7.4, no numbers like that there.

Not sure abour 5.2, but in 5.3 under about and package , the first line is the the number of the compiler version.
