Hi
On my own breadboard[Cy8C3246AXA], XRES has a problem.
I was connect SW to ~XRES, Pin number 15, XRES_N
Once push the SW, ground the Pin, MCU was stopped.
But never restart even the SW was off.
System configuration / Use Optional XRES was useless.
On this chip pin #22, P1[2] is a complementaly XRES but
has same result.
How to do it?

Did you check (scope) VDD, VDDA, VDDIO1 and XRES_N?

Of course, every value and wave form is no problem.

Hi
Yes, XRES pin is pull up by Pins configuration,
And I pulled up by external resister, 51Kohm to ensure it.
Project was attached in this post.
Anyway, I gave up Hardware RESET,
And for next handy way, software RESET that was implemented.
So far, that is woking well now.

As a matter of fact: the Kit-030 has got a pushbutton for hardware-reset and it works without any flaws. There is nothing else connected to the XRES-pin except the button. So ther MUST be SOMETHING with your board. I would not risk to send out a design that has some flaw, even it is worked around.
