I believe that there is a seperate license for iBeacon. Have you checked with Apple?
Our team then takes the license ID you provide and validates it against a database Apple has provided us access to, once validated, libraries are distributed through an internal site.
j.t is your point of contact for the BLE iBeacon side
gangi can help on the MFi Wi-Fi side

Apple MFI program FAQ says that
Accessories which connect to an Apple device using only Bluetooth Low Energy/BTLE/Bluetooth 4.0 or standard Bluetooth profiles supported by iOS are not part of the MFi Program.
Can you please elaborate why do I need to have a MFI license to get the patch?

Andrei,
Apple MFI and Apple iBeacon are different licenses.
You do NOT need the MFI license to get the iBeacon License - You can apply for each one individually.
Can you send us your 6 digit iBeacon License Number and we will get the patch to you.
Thanks,
JT

Hello,
I got the similar question - to get the iBeacon library, mentioned in SDK 2.1.1.
I'm a MFi member, and iBeacon member. The licenses are:
iBeacon #: 216794
How should I proceed in order to get the library, needed for iBeacon samples within SDK?
Thanks,
Alex.
