I have a 28-pin SOIC CY8C22545 and I'm using it as a proximity sensor. PSoC designer has the module CSD2X 3.10 available for this chip. I'm using the module in the "Dual-channel with Rb configuration".
What I would like to know is:
- What are the advantages/disadvantages of using IDAC over Rb in a proximity application and which one suits the application best?
- In case of the Rb configuration, how are Rb and C_mod connected to the PSoC device? There are no schematics in the CSD2X 3.10 datasheet.

Sorry, with respect to the second question, there is a schematic in the datasheet; my bad. But the first question still stands.

Hi Nikhil
I don't know Rb and CSD2X, however
One dev kit which I knew is here ...
There are Prox and Capsense example
Code example.zip is useful
I'm not sure that will help for you.
