Hi, I have been trying to create a new project using the CY8C20160-SX2I but I cant find the chip part number. Is there any way to update the PSoc Components library or should I peek up another one of the same family ?

 Hi,

The CY8C20160-SX2I is NOT a programmable part . It is a configurable part . The CY8C20160-SX2I device functionality is configured through I2C . This means you need to use external I2C master to configure the device and read sensor information.

Since this is not a programmable part this will not be available in PSoC Designer .
