 Hi Rachana,

Please download the installation file (EZ-USB FX3 SDK v1.2.3 for Linux) from the following location:

http://www.cypress.com/?docID=42387&dlm=1

It has the GUI (cyusb_linux) to program FX2LP on Linux platform.

Thanks,

Sai Krishna.

I have downladed the installation file (EZ-USB FX3 SDK v1.2.3 for linux). However, I really wondered while using this SDK, don't we have to install driver into linux machine(host).

Do we able to reach the device without driver? Or do we have to write a driver for Linux?

Hello Qingshui Kong,

- Are you running the Linux OS on a virtual machine. If yes, kindly, enable the USB ports before turning ON the machine.

- If you are running the Linux OS on a PC, kindly, check if the VID/PID of the device is present in the /etc/cyusb.conf file.

Best regards,

Srinath S

Thanks,

I run the Ubuntu OS on a virtual machine (VMware Workstation). And the virtual machine can find the USB device. From the picture I attached before, you can find Cypress FX3 on the right bottom corner.

And now, I am try to run the Ubuntu on a PC.
