Hello everybody,

   

Can you tell me how can I connect  VR (Potentiometer) to a GPIO.

In Creator ->Find Example Project -> ADC Single ended mode

   

Connect the VR to GND and Vdda and the wiper to the input pin.

Hi Bob,

   

I know where to connect them, the question is how can I connect them I cannot find any convenient PIN out to wire through !!

Pay particular attention to the CM range of your signal path

   

that you use on PSOC. Not all components have a CM range

   

of rail to rail. If you want R-R then set A/D to bypass buffer, as

   

shown below. Ignore the "labling" of one of the modes as R-R

   

mode that does not lead to actual R-R performance, you can

   

see that in the graphic.

If you are using a -030 board, schematic has Vdd (thru jumper) and Vss connected to

   

Vr, the wiper comes out and is directly wired to a PSOC pin on the board -

Hello everyone,

   

Thanks to you all for your help I think I found it.The potentiometer output is available on P6[5] and VR on header P6 in the prototyping area.
