    userc_41809

       Hello All,

      What is the difference between EZ-USB® FX3S™ and EZ-USB FX3™?

      Can I use EZ-USB FX3 development kit to evaluate the basic functionality of EZ-USB® FX3S™.

      External Processor -> EZ-USB® FX3S™ -> USB3.0

           Hi Both FX3 and FX3S are our USB 3.0 controllers. They have SPI, I2C, UART, I2S, JTAG GPIF Interfaces

          *FX3S has support to Storage ports (SD and eMMC) also. FX3 does not have

          *FX3 can have maximum of 32 Bit GPIF Lines (general purpose interface) running at 100 MHz maximum. FX3S can have only upto 16 Bit GPIF running at 100 MHz

          You can use FX3 Development kit to evaluate FX3S functionalies, except the storage interface.

          For evaluating Storage functionality also, you have to use the FX3S Kit from our design partner Pactron.
