 Hi everyone,

I cant find the footprint for the CY8C4247LQI-BL483 56-lead QFN 7x7mm package. Is there any eagle library available or at least a pdf with the footprint and stencil drawing?

Thanks in advance,

Stevil

 Hi Dana,

I already checked that library but appearently they only included a 56-lead QFN 8x8mm.

Is there no "official" footprint-drawing for this package from Cypress, like every other company has for their ICs?

Kind regards,

The package drawing can be found on the product page for that chips: http://www.cypress.com/?mpn=CY8C4247LQI-BL473 . Just click on the 'QFN' link.

 Hi,

thanks for your reply but this is only the package outline drawing and not the drawing of the footprint for the pcb 😞

There are footprints available for Altium, Orcad and PADS: http://www.cypress.com/?rID=102507

For PADS there seem to be a free footprint viewer: http://www.pads.com/downloads/lp-viewer-download/

Apart from that, Cypress seem to refer to the IPC landpattern calculator: http://www.cypress.com/?id=4&rID=26496 but I cannot find anything in the IPC website. I find references to https://www.pcblibraries.com/ which seem to have a tool that can manage libraries and create footprints.
