Hi to all,
LUTs are very powerful components, and I use them very often.
Unfortunately they are not very clear.
When I open a LUT, I only see a table with the columns named in3, in2, in1, in0 and out1, out0 etcetera.
When the LUT become very large, you get lost between the ones and the zeros.
It would not be possible to allow you to enter some meaningful labels instead of in0, in1 out3, out2, out1, out0 etc,?
Greetings to all.

You can always label the wires connected to those component I/O -
Right click wire segment and rename it.

But that doesn't change the column names in the LUT configuration dialog. And that one can get confusing if you have more than 4 signals...

Of course it does not change the LUT names, just the wire names,
Its a workaround, and posters idea better but not yet available.
Regards, Dana.

Yes,
meaningful labels on the columns would improve readability of the logic design.
Thanks to all,
