Hi, I am Maximiliano, I need help to program a CY8C4013-SXI chip
Its a SOIC8, and doesnt have a XRES pin.
Could anybody program this chip?? I found no success in this forum and maybe its an errata.
The chip is soldered and has good quality bypassing caps, as recommended. My problem is the same as dbarry in this post.

Do anyone know if dbarry solved his issue?
I would appreciate everybodys assistance

Thanks Dana,
As my chip needs, powercycle, I tried the methods you recommend, but they fail the python script couldnt execute the serial code, it returns errors, so I couldnt use this method.
Could you use it?
Regards

I have never worked with the 4013 so have not done any programming on it.
Maybe someone else in the forum can pick up on this.
Consider posting the python script you are using and connections/schematic.
Regards, Dana.

Hi Danaknight
I tried the HSSP solution, with the CY8CKIT-040. Build OK.
But still having problems, the hexparser program fails. An exception happens.
something about a "lenght" parameter
