This sounds silly, but i cannot find the Cypress USB Serial Drivers for Mac anywhere on google.
I am using the Psoc 4 Pioneer kit, i can detect the USB serial under windows, but i have no idea where the Mac drivers are. I need to send data over to a Mac.
Can anyone point me where to get the USB drivers please?
Thanks

Hi Dana,
I follow the instructions, copied the dylibs and the conf files, but when i plug in the usb, i still cant detect it as a serial port. What else needs to be done to detect it as a serial port?

If using a Pioneer card then you would have to use UART in PSOC 4 to com to
MAC. If you sue the PSOC 5LP on the board you could do a USBUART approach.
If former you would need RS232 interface chip like MAX232 to do the PC interface.

Hi Dana,
I am using the 5LP on the board, and connecting to psoc 4 tx rx to the 5LP rx tx. Under windows i am able to detect it as a serial COM port. So i think MAC doesnt recognize it because it doesnt have the drivers. this is the USB UART approach right?
