I have found sometimes forcing the USB by cable disconnect to re-negotiate the

correct part finally shows up in the target select window.

Try forcing the driver uninstall with option checked to delete driver code,

windows device manager, and force a driver clean re-install.

You are a bit short in your answers:

What are the settings you use for the miniprog3

What do you connect it to? (Schematic)

Where does power (level) come from?

Dana, I also have the family processor module cy8c38 (CY8CKIT-009) and then works in correctly.

Bob:

What are the settings you use for the miniprog3.  -> the settings is same to use on cy8ckit-009

What do you connect it to? (Schematic) The VDDD = VDDDIO1 = VDDDIO2 = VDDDIO3  = VDDDIO0 = VDDA = 5V

Where does power (level) come from? from arduino 5v and gnd...

Thanks

I had a similar problem when placed too low-capacity capacitors on pin65 (Vdda) and pin63 (Vcca = 1.8V not GND)

On your circuit Vcca shorted to ground. I hope it's just a typo.

If this is the first instance, I dare to suggest that the problem of soldering or scheme (99.9%).

(at least for me so)))     )

Do not put to 1,8V Vcca. It contact to connect the capacitor to the inner stabilizer.

You just have to make sure that it has 1,8V.

The two pins labeled VCCD must be connected together, with capacitance added, as shown in Figure 2-7...  etc.

File a CASE on this and post your schematic and Miniprogr3 connections when you do.

To create a technical or issue case at Cypress -

Hi,

Your problem is solved ?

1) Can you try at 3.3 V ?

2) Is your processor module working when put on development board ?

Thank you,
