I need to program a psoc-4 chip that is mounted on a PCB.

Is it possible to program the chip while it is still intact on the board using the pioneer kit?

I have access to the SWD pins, Vcc, GND and XRES as prescribed by the programming guide.

Please help!

Yes that is possible, there has been a hack posted here in the forum, but I cannot find it right now. Buried deeply...

Another choice could be to usa a CY8CKIT-059 prototyping kit which comes rather cheap. You may use the snap-off programmer to program any PSoC 3, 4 and 5LP chip.

Happy programming

If you have CY8CKIT-042 PSoC® 4 Pioneer Kit can modify it a bit:

But Bob's advice is better.
