Hi,
Long story, short I am working on an existing project that I have inherited and have a question regarding programming (burning) PSoC 3 chips.
I do not have the production facilities to burn the firmware on to the chips. Is anyone aware of a service provider that will burn the firmware on to the chips?
The particular version of the chip is the 48 SSOP.
Regards,
Ron

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the link. I checked a number of the companies listed and I found a number that may fill the bill.

Hi,
Just to follow up. I found a ZIF socket for the PSoC 3 (SSOP 48) and built a firmware burner. Not the best example of engineering elegance but it works.

Ron

Ron,
Can you provide the price, vendor and part number for the ZIF socket you found? What I've found so far are very expensive >$200.
Thanks,
Randy

Hi Randy,
I will check my emails and determine where I purchased the ZIF. I recall it was about $75 plus shipping. Stay tuned 🙂

Ron
