What is the difference between SPI Master and SPI SCB blocks?
Any recommendations in using them.

The SCB (Serial Control Block) is to be found in every PSoC4, while the SPI Master (and Slave) component is based on a UDB (Universal Digital Block) which are implemented in PSoC3, 5 and PsoC4 42xx models. The functionality is quite the same.
