Hi Joe,
The Audio SDK is currently being worked on. I will get in touch with the WICED team and get back to you with more details.

Hi Deanagan,
Do you have an update on this? Is there any plan to release the WICED Audio SDK soon?
Thanks!

Hi,
I am also interested in making a device out of WICED audio system.
It will be nice to know upfront:
1. What will be the capability of the SDK?
2. What will be SW needed?
3. What will be the lowest cost possible for a simple audio (Recording and Playback) functionality.
4. What is the timeline of the release?
Regards,
Shashi.

I found an API in the latest release SDK3.1.0, it is under Wiced-SDK->apps->demo->bt_audio. The example is pretty straightforward with an init call "platform_init_audio()" It is setting up a high-def (24-bit/192KHz) DAC wm8533. The application is acting as a audio sink waiting for audio source over BT. The WICED BT API is located in the libraries directory under bt_audio and it is called wiced_bt_audio.h
