Psoc 42xx Prototyping kit I2C

I managed to run an I2C lcd with the pioneer kit it worked perfectly, now that I moved it to a prototyping kit only the backlight is turning on, I added the pull up resistors for SDA and SCL lines, please help I cant seem to find an explanation

   

the clock speed is at 50 kbps

Thanks for your reply bobgoar, finally figured it out, it seems I misplaced the data wires
