how to add new Touchpad support for CY5672?

We bought a few pieces of CY5672 evaluation board, but we want to replace the touch screen, how to add support in firmware?

The files related to the trackpad are present separately in the firmware (being with the name trackpad). The modifications need to be done in those files.
