Hello,
I'm evaluating the Capsense referencing the AN85951 below:
http://www.cypress.com/file/46081/download
In page 105, there is a "Firmware Processing Time" which is defined as Measurable Parameters.
Please tell me how to measure the Firmware Processing time?
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards.

Hello,
Once sensor scan is finished, the raw count values are stored in hardware registers. The sensor baseline and checking sensor status are done through the firmware. To know the firmware processing time, after scan sensor API is called, turn on the GPIO pin and once the sensor status is calculated, turn off the GPIO. The pulse width of GPIO is equal to the firmware processing time.
Thanks
