Hello

I am having trouble with powering the device without it being plugged into the programmer that came with this particular kit. We ordered a Cypress PSoC 4 BLE Programming kit, I want to be able to power the device and antenna without it being plugged into the kit programmer. Just hooking up a battery basically.

From what I was told to apply power to the module, it is using the VDD and GND pin at the bottom ot the BL483 module. However, are there other parts that also need to be plugged in? for the bluetooth connection to work

Hi,

Are you powering up the VDD and GND in J3? This should be enough to power up the module.

Regards,
