Oversampling the SAR ADC to get 16 bit resolution

Hello 

   

I am looking for information on over sampling of the SAR ADC component to get 16 bit resolution. It looks like the ADC component has built in support for over sampling but I am looking for a good project example of this or a good explanation of the necessary settings in the config dialog for the ADC component to do this. I have read the data sheet for the SAR ADC component but need more info on doing this.

I should also note that I am using a PRoC BLE chip which uses the PSoC 4 ADC_SAR_SEQ_P4 version 2.30
