CY8C4245 I2C Intermittent Communication Hang

Seeing an intermittent communication issue on some CY8C4245 chips, wherein the clock line gets pulled low and remains low.

   

1) The problem seems to go away when heated and returns when cooled.

   

2) Reducing the internal clocking speed from 48Mhz to 24Mhz helps the issue as well.

   

Have you guys run into any similar stability issues ?

Seems to be a system level problem. We shall discuss more on this in the case we have, and post back the resolution here later.
