Hi all,

We have created a 5 x 5 touchpad project using PSoC 4000.We are using CY8CKIT-043 programmer interfaced(EZI2C) with our remote board(CY8C4014LQI-422) as tuner. We are successfully able to load the program but the issue is "unable to launch the tuner due to "read operation failed! check I2C bus connection(SDA:P3.0,SCL:P3.1).

Project files uploaded for your reference.

I changed some settings in the CapSense (Mode is now Manual with tuning) and I revised your project flow.

Give it a try.

When you have a look into the kitprog schematic of your CY8CKit-043 you can see that the I2C is on kitprog header J9 pin 4 & 5.

Your connected swdclk and swdio are for programming only.

I do not know whether a connection of both interfaces (programming and EZI2C) at the same time will work, try it.

I tried this too. When connected to J9 I2C pins its not able to locate the debug target.

"There was an error running port acquire: Can not acquire device in SWD mode!"

So you will have to program your chip with one configuration and use the tuner with a different wiring.
