Hi,

I am using an IDAC8 component as shown in the example Analog PSFB Modulation in the Application Note AN76439. We connected an external capacitor to the RAMP pin and connected the other end of the capacitor to VSSD . Then we connected an oscilloscope probe across the capacitor to see the ramp waveform which was supposed to be generated. But I couldn't generate a ramp signal as shown in the application note. Could anyone help me with this?

I have attached the screenshot along with this.

Perhaps you have not set a contact RESET as an open drain.
If you have a DAC configured as a IDAC- required resistor.
Not seeing the project is difficult to draw conclusions.

Hi,

I got the required waveform for the analog PSFB Modulation after making the changes you (pavloven) mentioned. .

I had one more doubt. While working with sample codes, I saw few of the variables were given as labels so that connections can be given easily in the Topdesign.cysch.  How do I add these labels (variable names) in my design. Something similar to the one given along with control registers.

The issue seems incomprehensible translator may distort it.
You asked about the names of the wires?
