I2CHW MODULE ON PORT2

Hi,

       

i am interested on using the I2CHW module of PSoC1 on port2.

       

i know it is designed to use it on port1, but there is the possibility of use it on port2 changing the .asm files of the module?

Not sure about that. It is always dangerous to tamper in the generated files, because they will get easily overwritten on a new build.

   

The I2CHW component does not offer a different port there might be some internal tricks involved. to be really sure, I would suggest you to get in contact with Cypress directly: At top of this page select "Design support -> Create a Support Case" and ask your question. You will be helped by a Cypress engineer.
