Hi,
The SCB based SPI limits the data rate to 8Mbps. I would like the go as high as 24Mbps. Is it possible to do with PSoC4 devices? The HFCLK is 48 Mhz.
regards

No overclocking possible. But you may use a PSoC5 chip which could run SPI as much as 18MHz.

The problem with PSoC5 is that I haven't found one with automotive qualification.

When it is a high-volume project, I would suggest you to get in contact with Cypress directly: At top of this page select "Design support -> Create a Support Case" and ask your questions regarding SPI and PSoC5 qualification. You will be helped by a Cypress engineer.
