Disable CapSense Shield if specific pin is pulled to low

As the subject says, I would like to know how I could possibly disable the shield pin of my capsense module if a specific pin is pulled low. Right now I have my capsense module and a Digital Input pin with the following settings. 

   

Type: Digital Input, HW connection. 

   

Drive mode: Resistive pull up

   

Initial drive state: High (1)

   

In the end I would like my project to test if the Digital Input pin is pulled low and if it is low I would like it to disable the shield pin of the capsense module. How would I go about doing this in code?

Hello,

   

Please specify the CapSense component version as well as the CapSense configuration of your project , i.e. is shield a separate electrode or just applied to the sensors?, what sensing modes are in a design, etc.?
