I am told that the 20736S/20737S will support the HID Device/GATT server portion of HOGP: https://developer.bluetooth.org/TechnologyOverview/Pages/HOGP.aspx
When used, our device would send HID Reports over BLE to a full featured HID device like the BCM20702 and others (all require a traditional BRCM engagement via your local channels) connected to the television/game console, etc.
In this scenario, the HID and BT stack would be running on the host processor attached to the BCM20702, so it would be able to manage the HID reports being sent.

In SDK 2.01., see Apps/watch - this also implements HOGP/HOGS.
