Creator 4 forgets settings and recent files

Hello All,   I have recently updated to Creator 4,  it was working very well but has stopped remembering when I change settings and what files I have used.  The recent files list is always empty.  I have done the repair install but its still the same.

   

Has anyone else run ito this or have any ideas where the app stores the setup and recent files info ?

I found the user data .xml file and for some reason mine was completely bank.  After renaming it Creator created a new file and now is working again.
