Hello,
Is it possible to share the JTAG connections of the FPGA and CYUSB3014 or should we provide seperate jtag connectors for both of them?
is there a way to connect them such that both of them can be noticed in a jtag chain?

Hi,
Please use separate JTAG Connectors or have a facility to multiplex.

Hello,
Following board uses a single jtag for fx3, spartan 6 and a cpld. You can check the schematic on the same webpage.
https://www.ztex.de/usb-fpga-2/usb-fpga-2.18.e.html#jtag
Can you please confirm? Is there an advantage to use seperate jtag connectors ?

Hi,
There is no specific advantage in using separate JTAG for different devices. One of our customers was having noise issue from other device when sharing the JTAG. But that must have been because of his improper board design. If your design is proper, I believe there should be no issues in sharing the JTAG.
