Hello everyone,
I have a UI interfacing with my PSoC and everything works fine on Win7 computers (and I have created the FW and my software on a Win7 computer). Now, I would like to install that stuff on a Win8.1 computer, but the installation of the USB UART driver fails.
The issue seems to be that this driver is not coming with the appropriate signature. I then tried turning the enforcement of signatures (using bcdedit in the admin shell) off, but the problem still stays the same.
I hope someone could please help me with this!
Thanks,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
At the end of this AppNote http://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an56377-psoc-3-and-psoc-5lp-introduction-impl... (Appendix A: Disable Driver Signature Verification on 64-Bit Windows 8.1 or Windows 10) is a procedure to disable the driver sign enforcement changing the configuration on Startup Settings menu, maybe that way you can disable it successfully.
I did it once on Windows 8.1 and it worked.
