Speed Up Firmware Upgrade OTA

Dear all,

   

Is there any way to speed up Firmware Upgrade OTA? Because when I tried to download one 186KB firmware, it took about 13 mins. Do you think it's very slow. I have read one document in Day024_Throughput example and it let fastest speed is about 261Kbps meaning 32KB/s. So I think downloading 186KB should take only 1-2 min.

Which firmware did you use? Is it External Memory based Bootloader? This will take some time because the data need sto be written to FRAM and then readback. In usual case also the bootloading process involves, flash writes. Writing into flash memory takes time.
