Hi,

I am using a PSoC 4 Module (CYBLE-214009-00) and I can't find the Programmable voltage reference  component (PVref) on the PSoC creator.  ( www.cypress.com/file/274656/download )

I would like to use it in order to measure the VCC (Battery voltage in my case) without an external voltage divider.

I plan to use and ADC with VCC as a reference and to sample the PVref, than back calculating VCC.

why this component is missing ?

* Or If you can recommend on any other known practice to measure VCC without an external voltage divider.

Thanks,

Shai

I'm using the CYBLE-022001-00, and for measuring the battery voltage I take a reading of the voltage with reference to the internal 1.024 volt rail. Unfortunately, we are using two pins to setup a voltage divider so that the battery voltage is between the 1.024v reference and ground, so it requires some external wiring.

Please post your code so we can check it.

Hi,

Thanks for the replay.

It is not a code problem (I wish to get to the point where I'm writing code for that).

It is a missing component, Even though (As well as i understand) PVref is a PSoC4 Componnent.

Not all devices contain all of the components some of the PSOC Ble devices have less components. due to less resources in the chip due to the Ble function.

That  Component Programmable voltage reference is only on the PSOC Analog Coprocessor series parts.
