Hello,
I have a particular question about CYCKIT-059 prototyping kit. How should a MHz XTAL be connected physically to the board, are there any designated pins like there are for 32kHz XTAL? Is there any info on load and shunt capacitance that fits this particular kit (due to the pcb trace capacitance and similar)?

Pins 15(0) and 15(1) about 15 pf caps depends on the crystal you are using.

Thank you both for your comments!
I intend to add the crystal like one specified in the attached datasheet, 18pF load capacitance. If pin capacitance is about 5pF and trace capacitance 0.1pF-10pF (cannot find exact value for 059 board, and I have no tools to measure it), should the 22pF value be enough?

It should be okay, I would try the 18pf first and then the 22pf next.

Parts came, all is assembled and it works well.
Thank you all for the help!
