In order to use FX3's GPIF State machine in serial mode, please use the attached project. Reference document is also provided in the attachment.

Hello Madhu,

very useful example and especially the doc file with undocumented registers and hacks how to set up serial interface from the firmware code.

One question though, I believe the GPIF designer project you uploaded is the wrong one. It has only 3 states: START, DMAWAIT and READDATA, while the cyfxgpif2config.h file  in the root folder has 5 states... Could you double check and upload the right one please.
