Please note that FL064L does not have the same package as S25FL208K0RMFI041.
S25FL208K0RMFI041. is 150 mil SOC package where as FL064L has 208 mil SOC only.
You can also go for FL116K. The FL1-K is also EOL’ed but the parts are still available in Digikey stock
Since you want to buy time until next build and if you do not need large batch, the FL116K can be an alternative.
Please refer the Migration application note from the link given below to check command set compatibility :
Thank you very much for your prompt replies.
We clearly need to look at this properly for longer term and the information you have provided will help.
I am based in the UK and at the moment I can easily source this part which looks like it will drop in and work physically and electrically for us and I have ordered samples for tomorrow. Could you just confirm it should also be a reasonable drop in replacement for S25FL208K0RMFI041?
The part I can get easily for this build is S25FL116K0XMFI041
Thanks again for your advice and help
Yes you can use S25FL116K0XMFI041 it as replacement for S25FL208K0RMFI041 and follow the Migration application note provided in the previous interaction. Both are pin and functional compatible.
