Production longevity for PSoC6 / Any chance for CAN ?

Hello community and devs,

i was wondering if there is any production longevity commitment planned for PSoC6, e.g 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years.... ?

Also is there any chance for PSoC 6 CAN support ?

Hello Michael,

We will supply our PSoC 6's for as long as a project lasts and and for as long as you need. We are still providing production PSoC 1 devices from almost 15 years ago to our customers today

As for CAN, we do have plans for it in our future PSoC 6 lineups. Stay tuned!

thanks a lot for your response.

As i'm working in a medical field, our company also provides product support for a length of 20 years.

We usually try to avoid introducing new tech, which is becoming obsolete in production within 5 years and such.

So i really welcome your commitment towards your older tech and longterm customers.

Good to hear about upcoming CAN support.
