Hi,

I'm using a BCM92073X_LE_KIT, connected to WICED SDK, it has been working fine for the past few months, however today it has stopped working.

Nothing can be seen through the UART terminals.

When we try to upload a program to the tag it says no device detected, even after following all procedures outlined in the WICED Smart™ Development System Quick Start Guide. (i.e. Appendix 😧 Recovering a Corrupt WICED Smart Tag).

It seems as though the tag may be unrecoverable...

Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there any other way to recover it?

Just to be certain..

1) Ensure that the FTDI usb to serial converter is installed properly. You should see those additional two serial ports in your HW manager.

2) Ensure all switches on SW4 are set to ON

Does it still work (on your last installed application) if you set switch 2 on SW4 to OFF with a power reset?

Can you also use a multimeter to check out the voltages to the chip and EEPROM?

If all fail, then the tag could be bricked.
