We are using BCM43435 with our AM335x based custom board. Our kernel version is 4.1 and it doesn't support wl utils in the driver, but it is available in 3.14 kernel broadcom driver. NXP has ported that driver in 4.1 android linux kernel(git clone git://git.freescale.com/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git linux-imx  branch=imx_4.1.15_1.0.0_ga). Is this same driver is available in pure linux 4.1 kernel...?

The BCM43435 is not intended for the broad market (not sure if this even came with us from Broadcom to Cypress) and is therefore not supported here on the IoT Community.  Please reach out to the group at Cypress/Broadcom that enabled you for this device and ask them how to go about receiving technical support.
