Hi,
I am using Wiced Studio 6.4 with Murata1LD. I am trying to interface an external flash with Murata1LD board using SPI.
But the build time of my Wiced Studio has increased to 14minutes from 2minutes since last few weeks. Is there any particular reason for this change?
Thanks,
Binsy M S

Hi,
As you suggested reinstallation of Wiced Studio solved the increased build time issue.
Thanks,

Hi
The problem arises only with this particular application project (sflash SPI one) or it is with every application (for eg snip.scan)?
Can you please attach the current application project files (<name>.c and <name>.mk files)?
Thanks

HI
This is very unusual sight that every program is taking 16+ mins. Could you please check, in the task manager, the memory and CPU utilization during and after programming the board (it would be Eclipse 32 bit).
Thanks

Also, where is the maximum time being taken? Is it during the compilation of the code or during the download of binary files to the board.
Thanks

Hi,
Maximum time is taken during download of files to the board.
During programming Memory - 212.8MB
During programming CPU utilization - 8.1% - 15 %
After build - Memory - 198MB
After build CPU utilization is 0% to 0.9%

Hi,
The above data seems normal.
I would suggest you to re-install the WICED (please take the back-up of your codes) and check whether the problem solves or not and update me with the same.
Also, please let me know your PC specifications.
Thanks

Hi
Specification seems to be good enough. Have you tried re-installing the WICED?

Hi
Are you using external flash to program the board?
If yes, then which flash is being used?
Thanks

No. Internal flash is used to program the board. Instead, I am trying to interface external flash via SPI with Murata board
Issue resolved. Made changes in the platform files for Murata1LD board.
Now build and download after reinstallation of wiced Studio takes less time
This is the time taken by snip.scan: Build Finished (took 2m:19s.265ms)
Thanks,
