Infineon lists only PCoC 4 products on their webpage.
I want to use PSoC 5LP and specifically CY8C5888AXI-LP096.
Does Infineon plan to dump all but PSoC 4 ??????

Hi,
Does Infineon plan to dump all but PSoC 4 ??????
No. The page is still under development. There are no plans of obsoleting the PSoC 5 devices in the near future.
However, we recommend you to use PSoC 4 or PSoC 6 family devices for your present and future applications unless if your application can only be achieved by using PSoC 5 device.
Thanks

We have to use PSoC 5LP because of various voltage levels on ports and also lot of UDBs.

You check check PSoC 6 family also in this case. PSoC 6 supports independant voltage rails for different VDDD, VDDA and VDDIOx ports. It also has UDBs supported incase if you are using PSoC Creator for development. Please go through the following document.

We need full 1.8V to 5V voltage supply range. Does PSoC 6 support that ?

Oops!! PSoC 6 family only supports 1.7V to 3.3V voltage range since it is fabricated on a smaller nanometer technology.
Thanks

IvPa,
The maximum voltage for the smaller lithography of the PSoC6 is limited to 3.6V. Voltage above that can damage the part. Having said that, if a 5V to 3.3V voltage regulator fits your design you can do that. The PSoC6 kits use the USB 5V to power the PSoC6s but there is a front-end voltage regulator.

IvPa,
I don't think that Infineon will abandon the PSoC5LP anytime soon. Infineon has a history supplying to the automotive industry. Much of the PSoC4 product line is automotive-grade. I inquired. There are no plans to make the PSoC5LP to automotive qualifications.
