Hello,
how do i determine the maximum read frequency of the S25FL128S?
I want to do a quad read and select the maximum frequency that i can use.
I see that the maximum tv (Clock Low to Output Valid) time is 6.5ns. The MCU that i use has a setting time of 1.5ns.
So the maximum frequency that i can use is 1 / (2 * (6.5ns + 1.5ns)) = 62,5MHz
Is this a correct assumption or can i use a higher frequency? If yes, whow do I determine this higher frequency? What are the limits?
Best regards,
Mathias Vanbelle

Hello Mathias,
The maximum (Quad READ) frequency in regards to the S25FL128Sxx is 104MHz, provided that VIO = VCC = 2.7V to 3.6V.
The maximum (Quad READ) frequency in regards to the S25FL128Sxx is 66MHz, provided that (VIO = 1.65V to 2.7V, VCC = 2.7V to 3.6V)
Refer to page 52, Table 27. Latency Codes for SDR Enhanced High Performance in the S25FL128Sxx datasheet:
